This grant program supports universities seeking to enhance experiential learning in artificial intelligence through project-based instruction, AI labs, internships, and applied partnerships.

Industry & Community Partnerships

Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for funding.
Eligible Institutions
Accredited public or private universities and colleges offering undergraduate or graduate AI-related programs.
Project Scope
Projects must directly support experiential learning in AI such as labs, capstones, internships, or applied research.
Faculty Leadership
Applications must be led by a faculty member or an academic department.
Funding Focus Areas
Proposals may focus on one or more of the following areas.
AI Labs & Infrastructure
Compute resources, model development environments, and AI experimentation platforms.
Project-Based Courses
Capstone courses, hackathons, and interdisciplinary applied AI projects.
Ethical & Responsible AI
Curricula addressing fairness, transparency, safety, and governance in AI systems.
Industry Immersion
Internships, apprenticeships, and co-developed programs with industry partners.
